USHEALTH Group, Inc. is an insurance company headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. It sells insurance through USHEALTH Advisors which is its subsidiary that consists of a network of captive insurance agents located throughout the United States. The policies it sells are targeted towards self-employed individuals as well as business owners who need insurance coverage for themselves, their families, and their employees.

USHEALTH Group has a number of health insurance policies that are designed to be flexible and affordable. It sells a PPO health insurance policy that covers essential health benefits outside of the Affordable Care Act exchanges. It also sells ancillary insurance policies to cover things such as Specified Disease/Sickness, vision and dental plans, and Short-Term Accident Disability Income.

In addition to health insurance policies, USHEALTH Group also sells life insurance policies that are underwritten by their two subsidiary life insurance companies, National Foundation Life Insurance Company and Freedom Life Insurance Company of America. They sell universal life insurance policies as well as term policies.

The customer service agents and claims processors at USHEALTH Group are collectively some of the best in the insurance industry. In 2013, USHEALTH Group’s was ranked in the top 50 of all call centers in North America by an independent agency. Due to their customer service and ability to resolve issues quickly, the company has been given an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.

At the heart of USHEALTH Group is their motto, HOPE, which stands for Helping Other People Everyday. This helps to define the company’s mission which is to do their part to make a positive difference in the lives of their employees and customers. The motto was established by Chief Executive Officer and President Troy McQuagge in 2010. As part of fulfilling this motto, USHEALTH Group engages in philanthropy. One example of this is their partnership with the Phoenix of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina had devastated the city. This partnership resulted in homes being rebuilt in New Orleans and its surrounding communities with employees from USHEALTH Group volunteering hundreds of hours in this project.
